The Plantation features a large, luxury estate home, as well as a professionally decorated guest house. The property features a New pool, hot tub, fire pit and pavilion that rivals the nearby Ritz.
Both homes lie on 28 acres overlooking horses grazing in the four boarded white-fenced pasture. In fact, this home features the largest tract of land in Reynolds Lake Oconee. The property has a total of 4 docks, including one on the private 4 acre lake and 3 on Lake Oconee, the main lake. Two docks are max size and the third houses the jet skis which are available for rental. We are located on the Atlanta side of the lake.
The Plantation has 8 bedrooms, 6 full baths, 3 half baths and sleeps 30. The large front porch is the best spot for drinking coffee in the morning. There are 4 different dining areas that will seat up to 30 people. 13 French doors throughout the home open up to over 27 seating areas under covered porches and verandas. The 12-seat theater is fully equipped with a huge 9 ft screen, 7.1 surround system and the ability to stream movies from the internet. There is also a kitchenette for all your needs. The Master Suite is on the main level with a HUGE walk-in closet. The Master Bath features marble floors throughout with a 2 person jacuzzi granite tub, private tiled 2 person steam shower and his and her dressing areas with granite tops.

From the warming drawer to the commercial grade stove with built-in Sub-Zero refrigerator, dishwasher and all needed appliances and granite tops, cooking in this kitchen will be a breeze. Family and friends are never far away in the large adjoining family (keeping) room with a panoramic view of the lake, gas logs fireplace, 65 inch LCD Smart TV over looked by an 8-person table in our breakfast room. The home would not be complete without the spacious formal Dining Room and the elegant 2-story foyer adjoining with marble floors.
The front foyer stairs or the back stairway leads you to the second floor which has several rooms that would be considered Master bedrooms. These rooms feature walk-in showers and separate garden tubs, oversize rooms with King and Queen beds that you can relax in after a day of fun. The large Bunk Room makes a great spot for the kids. This is our fourth stay for management meetings. Property is very well maintained. The new pool and fire hearth is awesome! While it was too cold to swim, the fireplace was the perfect way to wind down after a day of long meetings.
Perfect for a team retreat!
This home was a beautiful location for my team of 20’s annual retreat. We loved the pool area, ample seating space, and projector room that we used for conferences. Will come back again!
We had 18 people stay for a corporate retreat this past week including both the Plantation and Cabin. Everything was exceptional. I highly recommend the property with the right amount of seclusion and beautiful grounds
We had our Sunday School class retreat at the Plantation house and it worked so well. There was ample meeting space both inside and outside for our group of 36. Half of our group stayed at the Plantation house and half of our group stayed at the nearby Lodge on Lake Oconnee and everyone has voted to have our Retreat at the Plantation house again next year. It's the first time in 8 years that the group has wanted to repeat locations! What a beautiful setting with various activities to do in our down time!
Gorgeous Wedding Venue!
This gorgeous piece of property was absolutely perfect for our destination wedding! We flew all the way from Alaska to have our wedding in Georgia (my home state) and Andrea and their team could not have made it easier. The communication and customer service skills were impressive and I felt comfortable every step of the way. I felt like I was talking to a friend and she made every planning moment easier for me and my then soon to be husband. Our stay and experience booking this property could not have been any better. It was incredibly perfect and our wedding was beautiful! The house and property were more than we could ask for. Our friends and family were able to stay with us onsite for our wedding, and we were able to host our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all in the same place! I cannot fully express the beauty of this place. We feel so incredibly lucky that we were able to have our wedding here! Thank you so very much! We are already planning to book this house again for a 5 year anniversary/reunion! We can't wait to stay here again!
We hosted a Sunday School Retreat at the house and it was just perfect. There was plenty of space both inside and outside the house for us to have large/whole group discussions as well as ample, more private spaces for us to have small group discussions. The group has already asked us to book the Plantation House for our Retreat next year!
We hosted our 9th annual charity golf tournament at Reynolds Lake Oconee this year and rented the house and cabin for a VIP dinner. From the minute I started inquiring about the property until the day we checked out, Andrea, Sherri, Lee and Nancy were always so helpful and really quick to answer any questions I had. We brought in several chefs to prepare the dinner and had plenty of space to work with. The home comes with plenty of tables and chairs so we did not have to rent them saving us money. There are 2 bathrooms outside (one in garage and other near pool) so our guest didn't have to go in and out of house keeping the focus of the event outside. The garage opens on both ends and was perfect flow with the bar set up in driveway, dinner buffet and silent auction set up inside the garage and on out to the courtyard where our guest ate dinner. Our golfers who attended said this was hands down the best VIP dinner location we have ever had. The layout of the house and property is perfect for a corporate event or wedding and I would highly recommend it. We hope to be able to come back again for another unforgettable evening on the lake!!
Thanks so much Joni for your 5 star review! We were so glad to host your golf event at our home. We hope you will let our property be your come to location each year. You were great to work with.
Great place to stay
We will come again, perfect place
The property is very large, including a large pond, horse farm, with docks on the lake. The house is very spacious, clean, with nice furniture, and we had ample room for a large group. Separate patio areas allow for different groups to be together. Having coffee on the porch in front of the house is very nice with a beautiful view. A couple of canoes and kayaks are available to use on the lake. The new pool area is terrific (just completed in June) with a very large covered area with television. Very nice brick courtyard in the back for gatherings or play area. A great place to stay and we plan on staying there again next year!
Thanks for the 5 star review! We look forward to your return!
We had 32 people staying in the Plantation plus the Cabin. We were able to enjoy each whether swimming in the pond or pool, boating or playing games, Yet there was plenty of room to be alone. The site was beautiful and luxurious. Plenty of rooms and beds. Very nice kitchen. Truly an amazing place.
Thanks for the 5 star review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at our home and hope you will come back soon.
We loved this property and enjoyed every part of our stay. The pool area was such a nice bonus to an already great location. While we had a small wedding there for just our family it turned out to be such an amazing time for everyone and would definitely suggest this location to friends and family going forward.
Beautiful setting. Lovely home with impressive furnishings . Kitchen well equipped with everything you could need. 2small issues—need sheets to fit 2 futons/ 2 upstairs games are not working.
I am so glad you all had a good stay and loved the property. The sheets to the futon are in the closet named Garrett's room. Both games are working fine the master switch is at the wall plug beside the games. I am so sorry you weren't able to find these things. We look forward to your return visit.
I do not even have the words to describe this phenomenal home, amazing property manager, super friendly greeter and our overall experience. My family and friends were in awe of this home and gorgeous setting. From the first contact with Andrea, to my millions of questions, our experience was perfect. The home was clean, nicely appointed, spacious, soooo many amenities we probably missed half of them. I'd like to not let the secret of this home out. The setting is so serene and cozy, close to town and fine dining (Filet was delicious). Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Willett for opening this home for short term lease, and thank you Andrea for being a FIRST CLASS manager. We cannot wait to come back. - Mr and Mrs. Treat <3
This property is a true gem and one that you have to see to believe. Every detail of the home was considered and completed at a craftsman level. The decorating is unbelievable. The amenities are too much to utilize in just a weekend! We never even made it down to the lake and fire pit! There was not a single thing that this venue did not provide! Thank you for hosting our family's special event!
We held our company Christmas Party at this lovely Great Waters property this year and couldn't be happier with it as the venue! The layout of the property was perfect for providing several entertainment options for our guests while the lovely home provided a sophisticated yet warm and comfortable backdrop for our festive occasion. We had live music in the living room, an open bar in the kitchen, a Christmas Movie playing in the theater, a photo booth set up on the main level, food stations in the outside courtyard, and several guests even enjoyed the video game machines upstairs. The added bonus in renting this property over others in the area is that the local property management team is amazing to work with! Andrea seamlessly walked us through the rental process and Nancy was available for several "walkthroughs" and she even graciously directed traffic for us the evening of the party to make sure that our guests and the grounds were safe! The property is obviously VERY WELL cared for by their property manager, Lee - but when we did need to ask for assistance, Lee immediately met us at the home, made the adjustments we requested, and even helped us with a few party set up items that went WAY above and beyond his role as our maintenance contact - what a gem! Needless to say, we would HIGHLY recommend this property for personal and/or professional occasions!
The property was in great shape. The listing of the pool in the pictures threw us off a bit. I thought the pool was on the property instead of the clubhouse. It may have been specific in the listing but I just didn't notice. Everything else was great. Propane was full, fire pit was great, and the dock was beautiful. Access to Great Waters practice facility was a huge plus. We had easy access to the Publix. We were also easily able to get to the many Reynolds Plantation golf courses. Andrea was great answering my many questions and Nancy was very nice when she came by Thursday night. I will certainly recommend this property to my friends/family and would use it again myself.
Simply unbelievable. The property is STUNNING, dramatically better even than the beautiful photos would suggest. There is no way to describe the serenity of the property. The house itself is incredibly functional, large rooms, wonderfully appointed in-suite baths, chef's kitchen, and ample gathering space both indoors and out. I host a group of old friends that gets together every year for a trip like this, and I have no intention of staying anywhere else in the future. Whether you want to stay comfy inside, or spend some time in the sun - this truly is the perfect getaway.
Reynolds was the perfect location for our family of 23 to gather to celebrate a late Christmas in January! Photos do not do the house or grounds justice....everything is gorgeous yet comfortable! We had large spaces to gather and places to find quiet. We are planning to return again next year!!
Absolutely perfect for all. Since a bevy of grandkids and a few great-grandkids involved, there were numerous folks coming and going over the week. We could not have found a more perfect place; beautiful walks, time on water, indoor and outdoor games, theatre room, gourmet kitchen for meal preparations and seating for all. Could not have been better from time of making initial inquiry into property until leaving. Kudos to Andrea and Mark (owners) for ease of communication and responsiveness/assistance.
We stayed for 7 nights and at the last evening of our stay we had of our daughter's wedding in the courtyard under the arbor.. Simply could not have asked for more. We were greeted by Nancy who walked us through the enormous house and explained everything to our understanding.. The grounds were immaculate, everything stated was there and more. Probably the best family reunion/wedding anyone could ask for. We rented the pontoon boat for the week and explored the lake along with fishing it. The kitchen and theater room were beyond expectation. Just to sit on the porch and watch the geese and ducks on the pond and the horses in the field makes you loose all your tensions and helped us unwind. Thank you Mark and Sherri for this incredible memory..
This property is absolutely beautiful. We had 18 adults and 3 children. The house accommodated us very well and had everything we needed, from the well stocked kitchen to the gas grill and awesome theater room. The pontoon boat was practically brand new and we very much enjoyed using the paddle boat and kayaks. We agree with other reviewers that Andrea was fantastic in very promptly answering questions. Mark showed up the day we arrived and showed us how to operate the pontoon boat. He was helpful also in answering questions and making us feel welcome. Even though you feel that you are hidden away, restaurants, grocery, etc are very close by. This is a wonderful property! We felt like we got an amazing value for our money.
Our family of 24 thoroughly enjoyed this property. The house is beautiful, the furnishings are well kept, it was very clean, and the attention we got from Andrea Martin was very good. The Pontoon boat which we rented was docked close to the house along with kayaks, canoe, & paddle boat which was available to us free. Stores, Church, Restaurants, and Movie Theatre were close at hand. The Community Swimming & Golf was close and very nice but we did miss having our own swimming pool like we had on other vacations but we had the lake and it was beautiful. We had a fire by the dock and we ate so-mores with marshmellows in the evening and told ghost stories - very enjoyable to the family. We also had a family scavenger hunt for nature items - which was very enjoyable. I rated this property as excellent and it certainly was excellent.
Our family of 18 plus a few friends enjoyed our long weekend at the Plantation home. Accommodations were exceptional. There was something for everyone and we took advantage of every aspect! We enjoyed tubing, jet ski, kayaking, fishing in the pond, playing pool, watching movies, sitting on the front porch and just being together.
Everything about this property was excellent. The owners thought of everything to make our stay pleasant and Nancy's help and support was much appreciated. We brought our grown children/spouses and 8 grandchildren and we still had more room than we needed.
This property was perfect for our family/friends gathering! This home offered plenty of space for our group of 25 adults that attended and had everything we needed! This location is perfect for large gatherings. The home sits secluded with a serene view of the property. The view is amazing! We definitely enjoyed our stay and all of the amenities this home had to offer.
Perfect for an office meeting. This place lacked nothing and exceeded our expectations. We hope to bring customers in the future if possible. It would be great for any large group. I only wished we had made time to make use of all of the amenities available. Thank you!
Our family of 20 thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property and wonderful accommodations for the week of Thanksgiving 2014! The home is comfortable with a large kitchen-great room-dining combo that works as a gathering and entertaining area. We also loved kayaking on the lake, canoeing and fishing in the pond, taking long beautiful walks in the area and feeding the horses. It's a very self-contained and beautiful compound in an area with an abundance of local activities such as golf, tennis, skeet shooting and sight-seeing.
Our stay was incredible! We have had several getaways as a family recently, but during our time we concluded that it was the most relaxing time we've had as a family. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play. Relaxing on what we named the "floating bed" swing on the front porch. Also, Eatonton is not far if you want to go out and eat, watch a movie, or pick up groceries. We highly recommend this place for families. We would love to get back when we can.
What an amazing house! 22 men embarked upon a journey to lake Oconee and were blessed to find and amazing rental property and beautiful house. This 23 acre estate was perfect for a guys retreat...Games, Jet skis, camp fires, fishing, boating, grilling, movies and iron sharpening iron! I would definitely recommend this house to any one looking for a beautiful, large home that will accommodate your party with comfort, class and elegance! We will be coming Back!!!
What a great place! For the second year, we held our corporate event at this location and were very impressed again at the venue. The houses had all been improved from last year and we didn't think it possible. It allowed our people a great opportunity to relax and work all at the same time. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to host a company event, family reunion or wedding.
Family from 5 states arrived at the Plantation with folks from 3 months to 95 in age! There was something for everyone. Very well appointed home with outstanding amenities. Lots of beds, and lots of room. The common areas were wonderful. Adventure seekers enjoyed the big lake with boats, the more sedate paddled the canoe on the pond, and sat on the most beautiful front porch in Georgia! The patio and massive arbor were perfect for our big family dinner party. This rental is perfect for making memories!
Arrived on July 26, 2014 and home was more than promised. Boat and Jet Ski were in great condition, home was very clean and everything you need to host large group was provided. Owners are amazing to work with and went out of there way to make sure everything was as promised. Plenty of room for large group both inside and outside but also comfortable if only a small family. I have stayed at several homes on the lake and this by far is the best value I have found and cannot wait to get back. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a large luxury home for a vacation on Lake Oconee and have already recommended it to friends.
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. It was immaculate, and Duane was a pleasure to work with. The grounds are lovely….it's just as it appears in the photos!. Our only suggestion is this: pay close attention to the bathroom configuration. We ended up renting an additional home for our group because we didn't. The only access to full bathrooms is through bedrooms. Our group was made up of multiple couples and it's difficult to share bathrooms that are only reached by going through someone else's bedroom. If that wouldn't be an issue for you then there really isn't a downside to this lovely home!
My daughter chose this venue for her wedding. Being the father of the bride, I handled the financial part (sight unseen as we live in another state). I was hesitant to book this without meeting anyone face to face, but my daughter assured me we were dealing with good people. I am glad to say she was right on. I thought I would list some pros/cons for future wedding considerations: Pros: 1) The property owners and their property manager were very gracious, responsive, and accommodating all along the way. 2) Location was perfect and better than any pictures could show. Houses were clean and comfortable. 3) Having everyone in the wedding party on site was a great way to merge the two families while still having plenty of space to feel like you were in a hotel. 4) The property manager and one of the owners were on hand 2 hours prior to the wedding service and stayed with us throughout the reception. They helped the guests with parking (plenty of parking) and served as hosts as folks arrived. The property manager even brought along his young son, who we roped into helping with our energetic grandson. Southern hospitality at its finest. 5) The pontoon boat was like new and was a big hit with the guests who stayed the whole weekend. Opportunities: 1) The kitchen was large and well stocked with cookware. It is a focal point of the main house. However, traffic flow with so many people made it tough for the folks that were cooking for the wedding reception. Solution? Consider a local caterer who would require minimal need for the kitchen. 2) We used Lake Oconee Rental for tables, chairs, glassware and silverware. It was necessary for us to call them back out on the day of the wedding (which they did and were very apologetic) due to errors in the supplied items versus our order. Items were only fair quality and several required additional cleaning before we could place them for the guests. Solution? The property manager now has tables and chairs - rent his (they stay at the property). Perhaps he may also consider offering future rentals for serving and glassware/silverware. 3) My final piece of advice - hire someone to do the legwork during the event. I found I spent so much time doing "stuff" that I didn't get a chance to enjoy the beautiful property. Many thanks for a great event. See you next time!
There is no main bathroom. There is a half bath on main level and one in garage but all other (4) bathrooms are accessed only through attached bedroom. The bunkbeds room with a queen bed will sleep 10 but they would have no access to a bathroom. We had to wait for people to get out of bedrooms in order to shower. Cleaning fee is ripoff. Strip beds, clean kichen, run dishwasher, take trash to dump before you leave!
We have added 2 more full bathrooms as of 1-1-2015, so now we have 6 full baths so 5 bedrooms have there own private bath and 2 bedrooms share a bath. I am so so sorry that any guest would you feel this way. However, I would like to address the concerns placed here. There is a Master bathroom that is nearly 400 square feet, and accessible from the library, on the main level. We spell out in detail the bathroom locations and layout on all of the sites we advertise on. Secondly, due to the size of the estate, the cleaning fee should be much higher. It takes five ladies five hours to clean this property adequately to the pristine conditions that you were afforded. I rent through vrbo personally and a standard practice with buy owner rental properties is the minimal check out procedures that were asked to do. Our goal is and has always been to offer high quality accommodations to upscale guests that want the feel and comfort of home, at the 5 Star level that we achieve. I am very dishearted that in our 100's of past guests, that this is our first negative review.
My group had 5 couples and a total of 8 kids, from age 2 to 9. Home is gorgeous, furnished very well, and the property is amazing. The kids loved the horses, wanted to see them every day. Even though the weather was cold and most of the time was spent indoors, there was never a dull moment. Pool table, table tennis, games, activities in the area, it was a fun and exciting weekend, even in the winter! The owner was very flexible, a real gentleman that was willing to help us in any way. Home was spotless, and had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking/serving meals. I can't tell you how many compliments I received for choosing this home for the weekend getaway. Don't be a zero, be a hero! Rent it!
We rented this house for 18 adults, 4 children and 6 teenagers for a week to get away from the city. We celebrated a wonderful New Year and the entire family was fully entertained with many different activities through the day like canoeing, petting the horses, video games, paddle boat, playing ping pong and billiards and especially the rope swing out in the back of the house. The theatre and game rooms are great for teenagers. The little ones enjoyed the horses a lot. This property has everything to keep the entire family doing something and also very spacious. Everything in this house was very accommodating. We celebrated a terrific New Year Party. It is a great vacation place and we all had an unforgettable week, we didn't want to leave this house! We highly recommend this property to have a family getaway. TOTALLY AMAZING!!
We stayed recently at this property and would recommend it highly! There were 20 of Us of all ages and we all enjoyed our time. The little ones loved the horses, we also had fishing, and some even enjoyed a canoe ride. We used the kitchen constantly and Loved the space and accommodations. The theatre room was great and we loved the front Porch! We would like to make an annual event.
After speaking with Mark numerous times on the phone...I had to come see this place for my self...as soon as we pulled into the long drive way...it was love at first sight..the pictures do not do this slice of heaven enough justice..from the inside to outside everything was imaculate..I can not wait for our friends and family to see what a gem we have found for renewing our vows...the only down side is that 2015 is just to far away :)
I rented this home for twelve adults and two children to stay in for a weekend for a wedding that was not too far away. This house was very nicely furnished. The kitchen was fabulous, we did not cook, but we brought a lot of food and drinks in and we had everything we needed. The pool table and ping pong table were a hit, but the best surprise was the piece of property out front with horses and donkeys. We had so much fun walking the beautiful property between the animal, the private pond, the lake and all the natural beauty. A lovely place and the owner was super easy to deal with and always available for questions. I highly recommend.
We stayed in the house with 18 people for a week. The house and property are amazing...the pictures don't really do it justice. We had 5 families with a total of 9 children between the ages of 2 - 13. Every couple had their own room and all the kids fit in the bunk room easily. Nobody ever got bored because there is so much to do....pool, ping-pong, video games, paddle boat, canoe, huge tree swing, theater room (amazing), feeding the horses or just sitting in a swing by the lake. If you want some time alone, there are plenty of rooms and porches to find some quiet time. We also rented the boat which was awesome. It easily held all the children and 4 or 5 adults. We took the boat out every day and either swam in the lake or went knee-boarding/water skiing. Although the house is very large and decorated nicely, it feels very comfortable. There are a lot of little touches that made it feel like a home. The owners couldn't have been nicer and were very easy to deal with.
Our family of 20...eight adults and 12 cousins...spent a week here. There was so much to do on site that we left only to grocery shop and eat out reaching the restaurant via boat and skis, giving us extra family time together. The house itself was clean, spacious and beautiful just like the pictures. Our favorites were the game room with ping pong, a video arcade game and board games, the indoor theater with many movies, the pool room, the huge front porch with the bed swing where various cousins spent a night outside, the large kitchen/great room combination and and the cozy study and sitting area. The master shower was also a big hit with multiple shower heads and steam heads. The huge, "spic and span" garage easily handled our cars, "stuff", and lots of wet feet! All 20 of us could be on the lake at the same time with the two wave runners and the pontoon boat, and we enjoyed learning to knee board and ski. Just boat riding on the lake was also fun. There was a fire pit near the lake equipped with wood, fire starter and equipment for roasting hot dogs and marshmelows. The small lake near the house was perfect for fishing, canoeing and paddleboating, The neighboring horses were a big hit, and the children enjoyed feeding them carrots. There were horseshoes and bicycles on site. Behind the house a rope and seat were attached to a large tree with steps nailed on the tree trunk to help you get to the seat. Once seated...not always an easy action in itself....you pushed away from the tree and swung out really high over the yard! Reactions usually began with a scream, big eyes, and then a big grin and the words, "I want to do it again!" The owners were easy to work with and answered any questions we had. Our entire family, ages 7-72, had a delightful time with plenty to do inside on rainy days and and new outdoor adventures every day. All of us highly recommend this property.
“The Saul Family Reunion” will remain in our memories forever. Everything was wonderful! Upon arrival every guest whom entered the expansive drive was in Awe of the Home and Setting sitting before them. It was truly a beautiful sight. The 23 acres of land was well maintained and groomed. The home had everything that you would need to BBQ and cook for a large party of 20. The private lake has its own dock with a canoe and paddle boat at our disposal. The horses and donkeys were open to being fed apples and carrots right out of our hands. The main lake was warm, swimmable and not too congested for safe water play. We rented the boat and jet ski, each were in good working order and easy to navigate. Gassing up the boats was extremely easy with a station within minutes of our dock. Also, the grocery store is approx. 10 minutes away. Suggestion would be to bring spices for cooking and paper goods. Other than that, all was provided. Mark was professional and did his best to accommodate our every need.
We stayed at the property during the week of the 4th of July with 10 family members and could not have imagined how perfect it would turn out! The property is breath taking from the second you pull in the long drive and only gets better as you tour the house and head to the dock where the lake is picturesque. There is more than enough room for everyone to spread out and do their own thing whether it's playing ping pong, watching a movie in the state of the art theater, playing a game of pool, or just sitting on one of the many porches. The pontoon boat rental is a must and it's a fraction of the price of local marina rentals. The atmosphere on the lake is unreal. Our kids couldn't get enough of the lake...tubing behind the boat, jumping off of "The Rock" and playing at the rope swing. The pontoon boat also lets you access the Great Waters Club, The Lake Club and The Ritz by water. We can't wait to get back next year!!!
We found the directions easy to follow, which I consider a good beginning to any vacation. The house could not have been better and is well equipped for every need or pleasure. Although large, it is beautifully decorated and feels like a HOME to be enjoyed whether playing games, watching movies, family time around the table or relaxing on the porch and taking in the wonderful scenery. We even enjoyed the simple pleasure of sitting on the porch at night watching the fire flies and listening to the sounds of God's creation. Swimming and boating were tops, but unfortunately we did not get around to fishing and canoing and other fun things before the week was over; no one was ready to leave. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained and we found the owners helpful in every way. There are so many activities to choose from, all our family (grandparents, parents and grandchildren ages 1 to 11) had the best family vacation ever. We would all highly recommend this property to anyone and are thankful the owners offer this property for rent for others to enjoy. I don't think anyone could find a better place than this property.
The photos of this house can't even begin to describe how beautiful this property is! We were on a low budget for our wedding and when we found this house, we thought it was too good to be true! Our families were coming from out of state and having them all stay at a hotel would have been three times as expensive. This house had plenty of room to sleep both families comfortably while also not feeling too crowded. There was plenty of space to spread out all of the daily activities, pool tables in both the cabin and the main house, croquet, ladder ball, as well as having the opportunity to rent the pontoon boat. The property was immaculate and is very well taken care of. Mark was very helpful in answering all our questions and helped us make our day so unforgettable. We held the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the house and it flowed perfectly. There was plenty of kitchen area and grilling space for us to cook meals for over 50 people for the rehearsal dinner. The master bathroom was perfect for the bridal party to get ready, with a gorgeous, spacious shower and his & her sinks. The ceremony was held out on the round about, so our processional began through the double doors of the porch. The porch with the white columns was a beautiful backdrop and as we walked down the aisle, we gazed upon white picket fences, horses, flowers, and a private lake. Simply gorgeous. After the ceremony, the guests had cocktail hour on the side of the house where there is a huge paved area that looks onto the lake. The wedding party took advantage of the barn, white fence, private lake, weeping willow tree, magnolia blossoms, and other great photo ops. We then made our entrance into the backyard where we held the ceremony. Our 75 guests fit perfectly on the 10 tables we set up. The porch was great as a dance floor and the DJ had his covered area so we didn't have to pay for a dance floor. The surrounding backyard low wall was perfect to set up candles and made it such a serene setting. Our guests lit floating lanterns as a send off which was great for a social hour after the DJ departed. The wedding party then went for a midnight boat cruise. I couldn't ask for a more fun and beautiful wedding. Master bedroom is like a 5 star hotel room. Plenty of parking away from sight, two downstairs bathrooms, no neighbors to disturb, you will LOVE having your wedding here. Lake Oconee Rentals for party equipment is only 2 miles away and also super helpful!
We had 12 total people for a 4 day trip. The house was amazing! Even more incredible than I could tell from the website. Plenty of very nice bedrooms and bathrooms to choose from. We particularly loved the theater room, screened porch, and the pool room and game rooms. Beautiful property, great views, and very quiet and secluded. Also, easy access to plenty of restaurants and groery stores. I would highly recommend this property, and Mark is great to work with on all arrangments. Thanks Mark! We'll be back!
I have rented many properties from mountain homes to beach houses to lake houses and this was by far the best! Pulling in and having horses and a beautiful private lake was only the start. The property outside was very well maintained, the inside had all the amenities that you could ever want. From a movie theater to a wonderful kitchen, there is all types of entertainment options. Management could not have been more helpful and available. I would recommend this rental for all types of entertaining/vacationing groups!
We rented this house for a week at the Masters - enteratining clients. From the location to the gated entrance to the amazing entry to this property - it is built and maintained to impress. Very spacious and well equipped - for cooking, entertaining, and relaxing. Also would be great for families. Game room/theater room are excellent along with multiple living areas so large groups can spread out as needed. Highly recommend.
Just got back from a long weekend stay at this wonderful house. I was here with 6 other men we are in our mid 60's and have had reunions now for 15 years. Kindergarten together. Marks house is just fantastic along w/the boat. You must charter it.. lovely lake, lovely house and grounds.. Did not even go out to eat, had all our meals and cocktails on the grounds. Yah we cooked!!! Don't pass this one up. It's a beauty ...WDL of Lutz...
I couldn't have been happier with my experience at the plantation lake house. What a view! From the horses, to the lake, from the overall upkeep of the grounds! What an amazing way to get away and relax for a few days. It is necely furnished. Very cozy with tons to do. There is a theatre, game room, bunks for the kids. Amazing shower in master on main. Billiards. Open kitchen with plenty of room to sit, cook, and build community. The front porch has lots of seating areas with a grand staircase that cathes the sun perfectly. What a awy to start the day and enjoy a cup of coffee! I will be referring all of my friends and family to this home!!
This property was everything that was presented to us and MORE!! It was very well maintained and the amenities were awesome!! Everything in the house was very accommodating. Not only would I highly recommend this property, but I would like to have this property as an annual getaway. If it was up to my husband it would be 2 or 3 times a year!! This was the truly an unforgettable weekend; thanks to such a great OWNER!! Mark was just awesome to work with. He always made sure we were pleased with everything, and he was always available for any questions or concerns we had! I wish everybody in that business was as nice and kind as Mark. I hope to one day meet him!! Again this is truly the #1 rental property on Lake Oconee!!! TOTALLY AWESOME!!
I must say….the description truly describes this house to a T. There are tons of things to do….not only can you have a lazy day on the lake and lunch at the Ritz…..you can play a game of pool, watch a movie in the Awesome Theater, sit on the dock and fish the pond (if you can get the worm on the hook), and play a game of horse shoes. Never made it to the amenities…..but rumor has it they are awesome. And the Publix sells Dom Perignon and lobster…fresh. (The Publix by my house certainly does not) All you need is a good cook…..and fortunately we had one. Our stay was perfect!!!! It could not have been any better. We are going to book another weekend this summer.
Ginny I am glad you had a great time. There is so much to do here. The Pools and Club house are very nice. I agree about the Publix they sell the high end foods. We like to drive the boat over and eat lunch as well. We are Booking up fast for the Summer. Thanks for the Review. Mark
My husband and I rented the Main House last year with our family. We all enjoyed the modern updates and the privacy of our own 20 acre resort with private docks. The wraparound porch was nicely furnished and great for talking. We both enjoyed great dining and the many Reynold Plantation amenities. Lake Oconee has some of the best golf the Southeast has to offer. The house is perfect for a family reunion or just a group of friends hanging out to reconnect. The privacy and trees are indescribable. We are already looking forward to another trip next year.
What a great place to visit. All the splender and beauty of this wonderland whether it be in the Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter. Its a Vacation place that I can not wait to visit again.
Yes Angie it is a Beautiful place year round. Hope you are able to come back this summer. Thanks for the Review
The owners of this beautiful plantation home mericulously addressed all the needs and desires to accomodate our group of 16 adults and children from age 2 to 76yrs. What a wonderful get away from city life while still being pampered in luxury. We celebrated a terrific New Year and were fullly entertained. The owners are a pure delight and great people, we are already planning our return. The description sounds to good to be true but this place turned out to be more amazing than any of us imagined. Can't say how much we all appreciated all the special touches the owners have obviously put their heart into to make this a great vacation place, we didn't want to leave!
Kellie I am so glad you and your family had a great time. Thanks for the Review. We have worked hard to make this place a nice get away for families and big groups. It was a real joy meeting all of you and would love for you to come back this summer. Thanks, Mark
Thank you so much fo allowing us the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving on this phenomenal estate. I have a large family, 5 kids and when you combine family and friends with us,few places can accommodate. This immaculate property did, and much more. We are very active and like to do many things. There was never a dull moment here. Plenty of bedrooms and entertaining space. Plus the Theater was a great retreat to end our days. We played pool, enjoyed the pond, and the kid especially loved the rope swing out back. Even my oldest had a place to shoot basketball as he does everyday of his life. Then on top of all that its on Lake Oconee!! I love that lake. By far the best in Ga. ...sounds like perfect I know. But the add Great Water!! It was awesome. Exquisite course and 5 star facilities!! Definately look for us to book this summer, my kids had a fit over the pools.
The house is great for Big Groups and Families. We like the Theater as well, 7.1 surround sounds makes you feel like you are in the movies. We would love for you and your family to come back this summer. Thanks, Mark
